Kroeze
Welcome to Jamestown College! We are Sid and Monica Sandstrom and we're so pumped to be sharing in the college experience with you as your hall directors - keep in mind, Sid is in charge. Through all the fun times and challenges you'll face this year we will always have our door open and want to support you all along the way. Sid is a JC graduate with a Health and Fitness Administration degree and currently works for James Valley Youth for Christ. He played baseball and golf for Jamestown and is originally from Washington. Monica is a graduate from Pacific University in Oregon where she also worked in residence life and majored in Exercise Science. Monica works as an admissions counselor at Jamestown College. She enjoys tennis, drawing, piano and cooking—especially ethnic food. We are both active people but also love to hang out and watch movies. So stop by and say “hello”, we can't wait to get to know everyone!
Nierling/Wilson
Hello - My name is Nathan Peine and I am looking forward to my first year as Resident Director of Nierling & Wilson. I am a fifth year student at Jamestown College with majors in Financial Planning and Accounting. If I am not in my room, you can find me helping out at one of the awesome organizations I am involved in (SOS, Habitat for Humanity, PBL, SMC, Asset Builders). I am a huge fan of sports in general. I'd rather play them than watch them, but in some instances, it's better I just watch. (not exactly Michael Phelps in the water) Most importantly, I have a beautiful fiance in Minneapolis finishing up grad school. I look forward to having a great final year here at Jamestown College before I move to the Minneapolis area. My door is always open, so feel free to stop by and chat or play a game. I am excited to meet all of the returning Jimmies for another great year!
Prentice
Greetings! We are the familia Hernández—Kristi and Arturo—and we can be found speaking Spanish all over campus. Feel free to join in the conversation—my husband taught me all I know and he's a great teacher! For the last two years we had been living in Mexico, where we met while Kristi was teaching English at the company Arturo worked for. We moved back to ND in July of 2008 and chose Jamestown to be closer to friends and family. The end of the 2008-2009 school year will mark the end of our first year as resident directors in Prentice and we are excited to have another great year with such great students again.
Seibold
Hi! We are the Bratton's and we can't wait to see all of you in Siebold Hall this year. We have just moved back to North Dakota from Colorado Springs, CO and are so excited to be back home with our friends and family and to be working for JC. David and Shannon were both born and raised in Jamestown and are 2003 graduates of Jamestown High School. David just finished six years in the Army down at Fort Carson, CO where he served in the 4th Infantry Division in the cavalry. Shannon attended college at SMSU in Minnesota and is looking to finish her last two years of College at JC! And then there is the leader of the Household! Sophie. Our 16 month old little girl. You will no doubt find our little sweetheart in the hallways waving to everyone and trying to order people around. Any baby sitters in Siebold this year???? We look so forward to meeting each and every one of you. Please know that our door is always open!!!
Watson
Hello Watson Hall! I'm Cathy Lutz and I can't wait to have you on campus! This will be my sixteenth year as Resident Director of Watson Hall. I currently serve as the Director of Conferencing and previously served as the Director of Residence Life for fourteen years. I am a native of Jamestown, and enjoy being a grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren with one on the way!
Campus Apartments
Hello - My name is Kelan Moser and can't wait for my second year in the Campus Apartments. I'm currently engaged to Jessica Burrell and will be married in October of 2010. I am a JC alumnus, class of 2007. I currently work at Goodrich Cargo Systems in Jamestown as a Commodity Buyer. I enjoy playing sports and being outdoors. I look forward to making sure the campus apartments are a place that encourages good academics – but still lots of opportunity to have fun. I look forward to meeting you all.
